The Salt Lake City headquarters of Adagio, Inc. is flooded with natural light. It illuminates and enhances both the corporate art collection, and the expansive floors — crafted of the company's high-end wood and stone flooring products.

"I found the strongest comments and most satisfied customers from United Interiors."

Adagio, Inc.
Case Study

Design Challenge
Adagio owner and CEO, Jeff Geddes, chose the building for his headquarters because of its open design. He was especially impressed by the size, number and location of windows. "The window spacing is what really caught my eye," he says.

Geddes' primary direction to designer, Michael Costantino, at the firm Architectural Nexus was, "Take full advantage of the windows." As a result, Geddes says, "Anywhere you stand you have views of the outside."

In the reception area is a 10 x 16 foot painting commissioned

especially for that space. Geddes asked that the lobby "be designed around the large painting."

Finally, Geddes and Costantino made sure that the space showcased Adagio's spectacular stone, wood and bamboo floors.

The United Interiors Solution
From the beginning, Geddes "wanted the best quality furniture for this space. I went online to do my research. I found the strongest comments and most satisfied customers from United Interiors."

He was attracted to Evoke casegoods because "they had the best quality and the modern style that reflects our corporate image."

Don Leonard of Contract Furniture Gallery, says "the Evoke floating worksurface really caught Jeff's attention."

Geddes chose Delano seating for the reception area and his private office because of its "clean lines" and the unique bolster. Finally, Skye seating was selected for the conference rooms and executive offices because Geddes liked its look and the way it felt when he sat on it in the Contract Furniture Gallery showroom.

Product specifications: Evoke® casegoods; Skye®, Bingo®, and DelanoTM seating.

Project Team: Michael Costantino, Architectural Nexus; Don Leonard, Contract Furniture Gallery.
